Resumen del post: Ejemplo de uso de redes sociales para lanzar un proyecto


Hace unos días le enseñe a mi esposa Facebook muy entusiasmado. Al terminar, ella me preguntó un tanto decepcionada, para qué servía en realidad. No supe muy bien qué responder. Le dije, bueno, es divertido y parece el futuro. (Hace 15 años, cuando hablaba de Internet me sucedía algo parecido). En fin, que me quedé pensando sobre si al final del día, en el mundo real las redes sociales servirían para algo.

Lo que me ha motivado a escribir esta entrada hoy ha sido un mail que me ha llegado de un contacto de mis tiempos de responsable de seguridad informática, precisamente de una de mis redes sociales. Me ha parecido el mejor uso tangible de las mismas que he visto hasta la fecha y apunta a que las redes sociales pueden servir para mucho.

Andrew Cardwell tiene más de 6000 conexiones y más de 110 recomendaciones en linkedin. En febrero va a lanzar su propia empresa y ha usado linkedin para hacerme llegar una nota donde en 60 segundos explica muy bien su nuevo proyecto y qué puede hacer por mí.
Con esa gran red de contactos y esa fenomenal manera de explicar las cosas parece seguro que le irá muy bien. Cuantos quisieramos lanzar nuestros proyectos con semejantes cimientos.
